– Bangalore & 3. Polytechnic – Darbhanga
These Polytechnic
courses were started from the Academic
Year 2008-09 at Hyderabad, Bangalore
& Darbhnaga simultaneously with Urdu
as a Medium of Instruction.
The Academic programmes are being
getting popular and the demand has been
increasing from different corners of the
Nation, particularly from low/medium
educated and low income family groups.

Academic schedule of Polytechnic
Hyderabad:

The Admission in to MANUU Polytechnic courses is through
MANNUU Polytechnic Entrance Test every
year.
-
Issue and receipt of applications for the Entrance will
be during June / July every year.
-
The candidates qualified in the Entrance Test will be
called for the Counseling & allotment
of seats is done as per the Merit in
the Entrance Test.
Infrastructure Facilities:
The Polytechnic
Building with spacious Class rooms &
full-fledged Laboratories for all the
Four Branches of Polytechnic is on the
verge of completion.
The MANUU Polytechnics are providing
high quality technical education &
training to the students and on the
other hand, it is also encouraging the

1.Acquisition
Section:
This
section deals with the selection and
purchase of new books. Books are
selected for purchase on the suggestions
and recommendations of the head of the
department, after purchase the prices
are verified and books are accessioned
here and forwarded to the processing
section for classification.
2.Technical
Section:
The
work of stamping, labelling and pasting
the book card and book slip are done
here and books are being classified
according to Dewey Decimal
Classification Scheme 22nd
edition and the subject heading are
given accordingly.
3.Reference
Section:
The library has encyclopaedias,
Dictionaries, yearbooks etc. Users get
access to these books in day to day
information.
4.Periodical
section:
This section deals with acquisition of
periodicals, journals and magazines.
Newspapers clipping are maintained and
important information are displayed on
the notice board.
5.Circulation
Section:
The library follows close access system,
all books received from technical
section are kept here to be issued. The
books are arranged in classified manner
on the shelves according to call numbers
assigned from Dewey Decimal
Classification Scheme.
Newark System of charging and
discharging is followed during issue and
returns of the book. Records of
membership, Borrowers card, issues and
returns, no dues certificates are signed
at the end of the academic year.
1. Each student is issued 01 book for 15
days.
2. Regular
teaching Staff is issued 05 books for 1
month.
3. Contractual Staff is issued 03 books
for 1 month.
4. Regular Teaching Staff is issued 02
books for 15 days.
