To promote the academic programme outside the country Maulana Azad National Urdu University has established one exam centre at Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2007. Since its inception it caters to the Higher education needs of Indian students (expatriates) as well as other nationals residing in remote areas of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Most of the working professionals and House wives of KSA who desire to have additional qualification are enrolled through our ODL programmes. Recently the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of MANUU has announced the establishment of three centres at Dammam, Meena and Riyadh.

At present MANUU is offering Under Graduate (B.A, B.Com) and Post Graduate (History, English, Urdu) and few Diploma and certificate courses through its overseas centre. This exam centre is running under the supervision of Consulate General of India, Jeddah. Mr. Sultan Mazharuddin, President of Indian Education Council has taken the responsibility of Admissions, distribution of Self Learning Material to the students and dissemination of information regarding Term end Examination.

In future Maulana Azad National Urdu University may expand its overseas centres at Kuwait and Qatar also.
